These are creation limits, not a fresh monthly quota. Scanned and manually entered receipts count toward the saved-receipt limit. Recorded recurring expenses are separate and do not count as receipts. The free-plan check happens when you start an add, upload or scan action. Existing records remain available. Free tax exports use labelled sample data.

Upgrade to Pro

  1. Open the Subscription/Pro area in Settings or the upgrade screen shown when you reach a limit.
  2. Choose the monthly or annual plan. Read the price, billing period and any eligible offer displayed by Apple.
  3. Confirm the purchase through Apple’s system prompt. Wait for the app to report the active entitlement.
  4. Return to the blocked action or Tax Center and check that Pro is active. Do not repeatedly buy again if the first transaction is pending.

Trials and pending purchases

An introductory trial is available only when the configured offer exists and Apple considers the account eligible. It is not granted every time you reinstall or change plans. A pending purchase, including an Ask to Buy request, does not unlock Pro until Apple approves it. Use the status shown by the app and Apple.

Restore or use another device

Use the same Apple purchase account and the Restore Purchases action where offered if a purchase is not recognised. Private-record sync and purchase restoration are separate: restoring Pro does not itself copy jobs or receipts. The subscription is intended for iPhone, iPad and Mac under the same app purchase.

Cancel, expire or request a refund

Manage subscriptions through your Apple account: on iPhone/iPad, Settings → your name → Subscriptions; on Mac, the App Store account’s subscription management. Cancelling stops renewal according to Apple’s displayed terms. Refund requests go through Apple’s purchase support. If Pro ends, existing records remain available; creation limits and real-data tax-export restrictions apply again.
