Use Siri and Shortcuts
Open supported app workflows and build automations with the actions exposed to Apple Shortcuts.
Find the available actions
- Open Apple’s Shortcuts app and create or edit a shortcut.
- Search for JobLedger Pro in the action picker. Available actions depend on your platform and app installation.
- Add the action you need and review its parameters. Select a job, invoice or vehicle only when it matches your intended workflow.
- Run the shortcut and check the app or result before adding further automation.
Supported workflows
App actions include opening jobs or receipts, starting receipt scanning or upload, opening mileage tracking, showing an invoice, adding a job reminder and requesting supported spending, mileage or invoice-balance summaries. An action that opens the app still needs you to complete the relevant review/save workflow.
Create a useful shortcut
For example, add the action to start a mileage trip with your work vehicle. Name the shortcut clearly. Run it before setting off, then confirm that tracking has actually started in the app. Opening the mileage screen alone is not evidence that a route is recording.
Keep references current
If you delete a record or switch countries, a saved action can refer to a job, invoice or vehicle that is no longer appropriate. Edit the shortcut and choose the current record. Check the app’s selected period and the action’s requested period before relying on a summary.
Privacy and automation
Review what a shortcut displays, saves or sends. Results can contain business information, so do not hand a device or shortcut to someone who should not see it. Main-app App Lock should not be assumed to control every system action or result outside the app. Permissions, creation limits and purchase status can prevent an action from completing; inspect its error before retrying.
