Business profile, country and settings

Configure document identity, tax years, country datasets, sync and route storage.

Set your Business Profile

  1. Open Settings → Business Profile.
  2. Enter the business and owner names, address, contact details and logo you want on documents.
  3. Complete relevant country-specific registration, tax and licence fields. Leave unrelated fields empty.
  4. Save, then inspect a new quote or invoice PDF. Each country’s dataset has its own business profile.

Change the active country

Choose the country in Settings and read the confirmation. Your existing records remain saved; the app switches which country’s records and currency it shows. Changing country is not currency conversion or a migration of receipts into another tax system. Recheck the business profile, clients, vehicles and year after switching.

Choose a tax year

The Tax Year control scopes jobs, receipts and dashboard totals. Select a past year when available to review historical records. A receipt’s purchase date and a trip’s date determine their period. If a record disappears from a list, clear filters and check the year rather than recreating it.

Understand other settings

  • Clients and Vehicles: manage the records used by jobs and trips.
  • Recurring Expenses: manage repeated bills and their history.
  • Mileage Rate: custom budgeting rate per country/year, distinct from Tax Center’s schedules.
  • App Lock: authentication for opening the app.
  • iCloud Sync: private-device sync preference; a restart is needed to apply a change.

Optimize Trip Data

This option reduces the detail of stored GPS trails to save storage. It keeps trip distances, dates, addresses and amounts. Read the confirmation: the removed map detail cannot be reconstructed afterward. Do not use it as a way to repair a wrong distance or a broken sync connection.
