Jobs & clients
Manage clients and contacts
Save customer details, attach clients to jobs, and use contact and address actions.
Add a client
- Open Settings → Clients, the Clients area on Mac, or the New Client action offered by the dashboard.
- Choose the add action. Enter the client’s name, phone, email and address as needed.
- Save the record. Search the list to confirm you can find it.
- When creating or editing a job, choose the client from the picker.
Edit an existing client
Select the client and open its editable details. On Mac, the editor can appear alongside the list. Update the relevant contact fields and save. Check jobs that use the client if you have changed a name or address that will appear on a new document.
Contact a customer from a job
Before sharing a quote or invoice, inspect the PDF’s customer name and address. A draft uses current profile/client details. Once issued, the document preserves its captured identity; later client edits do not rewrite it. A PDF already shared is a separate file. If an issued invoice needs correction, use its Void workflow and prepare the replacement rather than expecting an edited client record to change it.
Keep billing information accurate
Before sharing a quote or invoice, inspect the PDF’s customer name and address. A previously shared PDF is a separate file: editing the client does not update a file you already sent. Send a revised document when needed, and retain the version your customer accepted.
Find missing clients
Check the active country and clear search text. The client picker and list use country scoping. The free plan allows up to 3 clients in the relevant dataset. An expired Pro subscription does not hide clients you already created, but adding more can be blocked.
